MCCOLL, SC (WBTW) – A man was shot and killed following an altercation at a home on Melroy St. in McColl Sunday morning, according to McColl Police Chief Tommy Langley.
The Marlboro County Corornor Tim Brown identified the victim as John Bryant. Chief Langley said Bryant Bonds was arrested and charged with Bryant’s murder.
Langley said the call came in around 8:59 Sunday morning, and that Bryant was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Langley said the two men had been in some kind of altercation at the home and that’s when the shot was fired.
Bonds is currently being held in the Marlboro County Detention Center.
