CONWAY — 15th Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson’s office announced a man pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter charges for a deadly shooting inside a Myrtle Beach strip club in 2014 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday.
According to a press release, police said 29-year-old Cliston Bellamy brought a gun to a fight among gang members at Smokehouse Billiards, and shot and killed Jaquann Price of Longs.
Authorities on a local, state, and federal level searched for Bellamy, who was identified quicky after, and he was arrested in May 2015 in Columbia.
Smokehouse Billiards closed in 2015 after Solicitor Richardson deemed it a public nuisance.
