HARTSVILLE, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol released the type of car it thinks was involved in a deadly hit and run in Hartsville. It happened around seven o’clock March 21, 2016, on East Carolina Avenue.
Troopers say someone hit a man on a bicycle, and didn’t stop. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says 52 year old Andy Kilpatrick died. Troopers think the person who hit Kilpatrick drove a 1984 to 1989 model Toyota SUV or truck.
Crimestoppers is offering $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest, and an additional $20,000 if the information leads to a conviction. Call the SCHP if you have any information on this case.
