FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Officials are investigating after a dead dog was found in a trunk in Florence County this week.
Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office confirms that deputies received a call Christmas Eve about remains in a trunk off a dirt road near Effingham.
In the trunk was a dead dog, Nunn says.
Anyone with information is asked to call Florence County Environmental Services or the Florence County Animal Control.
