DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Nearly 700 teachers and staff in Darlington County got ready for a new school year this week by going to school themselves.
The digital transformation conference kicked off the new year Monday, focusing on new technology and other tools that will be used in area classrooms.
“Teachers, instructional assistants, as well as administrators and school level staff [were] here just to find out ways that they can engage students and change what they’re doing enhance what they’re doing in their classrooms,” Carla Jefferson, instructional technology coordinator for the school district said.
Darlington County teachers will continue their professional development for the rest of the week. The first day back for students is next Monday.
