DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – A Darlington man was jailed on numerous drug charges – while out on bond for 2017 drug and gun charges – after a raid late last week.

According to Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis, the Drug Enforcement Unit served a search warrant at 414 N. Main St. Unit 9 in Darlington. Agents found 18.3 grams of crack cocaine, 18.4 grams of marijuana and 20 schedule II and IV pills inside the home.

Lt. Robby Kilgo says Stevie Jermaine Washington, 29, of Darlington, is charged with trafficking crack cocaine, second offense, distribution of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, second offense, two counts of possession of schedule IV controlled substance and possession of schedule II controlled substance.

Washington appeared before a Darlington County Magistrate on Thursday and has been released on a $46,000 bond. Washington also remains on bond on charges of possession of a firearm by a violent felon, distribution of cocaine, second offense, possession of a schedule I narcotic and possession of a controlled substance stemming from an April 2017 Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit investigation.
