Darlington County School District reports vague bomb threat was made Thursday

DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – On Friday afternoon, Darlington County School District released that they received a vague bomb threat Thursday afternoon on social media.

According to their Facebook page,  all local law enforcement agencies were notified immediately and officers were able to check and clear all the schools before the students arrived Friday.

“All necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of our staff and students. The safety of our staff and students is always our highest priority,” the post said.
