DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Darlington County will be opening a shelter at 8 pm Monday. The shelter will be at Darlington Middle School at 150 Pinedale Drive, Darlington, South Carolina.
This shelter will operate under Darlington County Emergency Management with the support of Darlington County School District, Department of Social Services, and the Pee Dee Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Those using the shelter should come prepared with identification, medications, change of clothes, cell phone and electronic device chargers, bedding, infant and baby supplies, and small toys and games to entertain children. Additionally, you may want to include spare batteries, foods for special dietary needs, and important legal documents.
Pets are not allowed at this shelter.
