Darlington County deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store.
According to Lt. Robert Kilgo, with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are currently investigating an armed robbery at the Family Dollar on W. Lydia Hwy. in the Lydia Community.
The incident took place around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Kilgo said. According to witnesses, a man entered the store brandishing a gun with a bandana covering his face and demanded money.
