HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a child reportedly drowned in a Hartsville pool.
According to Lt. Robert Kilgo with the sheriff’s office, deputies are investigating the drowning, but could not offer anymore information related to the incident.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee confirmed the drowning and explained it happened Monday morning in a private pool at the family’s home.
Officials have not yet released the age of the victim. Lt. Kilgo says the sheriff’s office will release more information as soon as it becomes available.
