A man has been arrested after Darlington County deputies found brass knuckles and drugs during an investigation.

A press release from the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Curtis Michael Dixon, of Gadge Drive in the Hartsville area, was arrested on Thursday evening following an investigation in the Pine Ridge Community.

Dixon is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance schedule II, and simple possession of marijuana, according to the release. He is also charged with violation of probation by the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. He remains in custody at the W.
