HORRY COUNTY (WBTW)- Horry County Fire Rescue crews were able to put out a large brush fire Thursday.
Horry County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Brian Van Aernem says crews responded to a large brush fire around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Willard Road. Van Aernem said 10 structures, including homes were at risk because of the fire.
According to Aernem, South Carolina Forestry Commission is on scene helping firefighters control the fire.
