West Florence Fire-Rescue crews battled a mobile home fire Thursday night.
Battalion Chief Dustin Fails says the department received a call around 8:30pm, to a home on Savannah Grove Road in Effingham. Fails says crews kept the fire to one side of the mobile home, but calls the building a total loss.
No one was home during the fire, and no firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
