A crash in northbound US 17 Bypass lanes in front of Coastal Grand Mall tied up traffic on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 1:45 pm and involved 2 cars that collided at the intersection of Pine Island Road and US 17 northbound.
Two ambulances were on the scene and News13 saw one person being loaded into an ambulance.
Northbound US 17 Bypass traffic was backed up beyond the Harrelson Blvd. overpass.
