FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) Florence police have arrested two women in connection to a shooting that has left a woman dead.

Measha Jaquetta Joyner, 28, of Columbia, faces a murder charge and Jolicia Danielle Joyner, 32, of Florence, faces a charge of accessory after the fact to murder. Both turned themselves in at the Florence County Detention Center on Tuesday.

The two women were wanted in connection to a shooting that happened at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday on Coit Street in Florence. The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Florence police.

Lt. Mike Brandt, with the Florence Police Department, told News13 the women are sisters.

Yesterday afternoon the victim succumbed to her injuries from this incident, so the charges have been changed from attempted murder to murder for Measha Joyner, said Lt. Brandt.

Plowden died from her injuries on Tuesday afternoon after a shooting incident on Sunday morning at a night club located at North Coit Street and Sumter Street in Florence, von Lutcken said. The body will be autopsied at the Medical University of South Carolina in coming days.
