The Florence Police Department is investigating a homicide on Philadelphia Place.
Lt. Mike Brandt says officers responded to 701 Philadelphia Place around 8:15 a.m on Wednesday for a shooting. Two people were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. One victim later died from his injuries.
Brandt also says an investigation is ongoing and no other information is available.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim as 22-year-old Kymir Jaquan Dalford, of Florence. An autopsy will be performed on Thursday morning at the Medical University of South Carolina.
