MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified the person who died in a crash on Highway 707 Friday.
Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden identified the man as Darron MacBrien, 29, from Poughkeepsie, NY.
That accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on Highway 707 near Friendship Lane.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a 2000 Hyundai headed north on 707 crossed the center line and hit a Ford truck headed south.
Troopers say the Hyundai driver died in the crash and the driver of the truck went to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
