The Florence County coroner has identified the man killed in a homicide Sunday afternoon.
Police in Florence are investigating a homicide after they say a body was found in a home, Sunday afternoon.
According to the Florence County Coroner, Keith von Lutcken, Juan Carlos Mendoza Zurita, 23, of Tennessee died from multiple stab wounds from an edged weapon.
According to Lt. Mike Brandt of the Florence Police Department, officers were called to the 1600 block of Dexter Ave. shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, about a deceased person.
The Florence Police Department released surveillance pictures of a person of interest on Tuesday night.
Police asked for assistance identifying the person who they think may have lived with the victim.
