The man who was found dead in the front yard of a Conway area home on Friday has been identified.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Chris Dontell identified the man as Robert Charles Heil, 32, of Conway.
Dontell said Heil died of a gunshot wound after a domestic incident.
According to Capt. John Harrelson with the Horry County Police Department, officers were called to Silver Moon Court in the Conway area at 11:23 a.m. on Friday for a shooting.
Capt. Harrelson confirmed a man was found dead in the front yard, but all individuals related to the case were located and there is no threat to the community.
Police have not released information regarding a motive for the shooting or possible charges.
The case remains under investigation by the HCPD, Dontell also said.
