Conway woman wanted in $10K theft of Victoria’s Secret clothing

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A Conway woman is wanted by Myrtle Beach police after she allegedly stole more than $10,000 worth of clothing from Victoria’s Secret.

Myrtle Beach police officers responded to Victoria’s Secret at Broadway at the Beach on March 13 for a shoplifting call. Employees at the store told officers that a woman came in carrying a shopping bag. Shortly after, three more females and two men entered.

“They started loading up the bags, mostly folded product, and laughing,” the employee told officers, according to the police report.

One of the men dropped his keys, the worker told police, and after another customer handed the keys to the worker, the man said he would punch the employee in the face if he didn’t get his keys immediately, the report states.

Police identified one of the suspected thieves as Latonya Ashantia Moses, 40, of Conway. Myrtle Beach police say Moses is wanted for shoplifting more than $10,000.

According to online booking records, Moses was arrested in December for shoplifting third or subsequent offense. She was released on $25,000 bond.

Anyone with information related to Moses’ whereabouts is asked to call police at 843.918.1382.
