CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Conway woman and her boyfriend were arrested after a 3-year-old child tested positive for five different drugs.
According to a Conway Police report, a Department of Social Services worker had the child tested for drugs after seeing suspicious behavior on August 1.
The test results showed the child had marijuana, opiates, heroin, amphetamines, and morphine in his system.
The child’s mother, Shannon Jean Potts 33, and her boyfriend Ashley Dylan Rodeheaver, 34, were arrested and charged with unlawful neglect of a child.
DSS placed the child in emergency protective custody.
