CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Conway Police report someone vandalized different parts of the city with black spray paint and are asking for the community’s help in identifying anyone who may be responsible.
According to a police report obtained by News13, officers were notified on January 15 that there was extensive spray painting vandalism done to the Riverwalk area of the town. One piling of the Main Street bridge and walls of the Lower Warehouse were covered in different symbols painted in black.
The report states the painting was done on the walls facing the Waccamaw River, and on a bridge piling at the river’s edge. The City of Conway painted over the graffiti on the bridge piling, and officers contacted the owners of the Lower Warehouse to make them aware of the damage.
