CONWAY, SC (Press Release) – Conway Police are currently searching for an excavator that was taken from a job site near Pickens Street in the city limits of Conway.
On Monday March 16th, 2015 officers responded to the area of Pickens Road in the city limits of Conway, SC in reference to a report of a stolen excavator. Officers met with a witness that stated around 10:20pm he observed two white males loading the excavator onto a trailer. The males were driving a white in color panel truck, equipped with a yellow light bar, and towing a trailer. The subjects (two white males) then left the area with the stolen excavator in the direction of Hwy 378.
The excavator is described as:
2006 Komatsu Model PC78US-6
Yellow in color
At time of theft the equipment did have a City of Conway seal on the side.
