CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Conway police are looking for a woman reported missing Wednesday.
Lt. Selena Small of the Conway Police Department says Cristal Marie Monge Melendez came to work Wednesday morning but walked out of the restaurant on Church Street around 10:40 a.m. According to the release, Melendez never returned and left her belongings behind.
The complainants told police this is not normal behavior for Melendez, and he family has not heard from her.
On Thursday, Small released that investigators had reason to believe that Melendez left on her own, but they were still cautious and investigating her disappearance.
Melendez is 20 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’3″ tall and weighs about 185 pounds.
