A Conway man was sentenced to prison on Wednesday for a hit and run death.
35-year-old Jason K. Sherman pleaded guilty to the 2017 death of 51-year-old Henrietta McCray, of Conway, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison, Solicitor Jimmy Richardson says in a press release.
On February 11, 2017, McCray died after she was struck by a vehicle, according to the release. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after hitting McCray. Sherman was arrested on February 15, 2017 and charged.
