CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) – A 34-year-old Conway man is facing three child porn charges after authorities received a cyber tip.
Derick Dee Herrington was charged on Thursday with three instances of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree.
After Conway police were given a tip from the state’s Attorney General’s Office, they were able to trace the IP address of the computer to Herrington, according to the report.
When searching Herrington’s residence, police were able to collect several items to show probable cause for three warrants for sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree.
His bond was set at $15,000.
