CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Conway man faces an attempted murder charge after shots were fired near a Coast RTA bus station.
Arsenio Legette, 29, of Conway was arrested at a home on Glady’s Lane on without incident, according to the Conway Police Department. In addition to attempted murder, he was charged with possession of a pistol by unlawful person, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and unlawful carrying.
Police investigated a call about shots fired at 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday at the bus stop around 1418 Third Avenue. After speaking to a victim, police found a 9 mm shell casing, according to the incident report.
After further speaking with witnesses, police said they determined an attempted murder had occurred.
Legette was released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Thursday on $40,000 bond, according to center records.
