CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – On Thursday Conway police arrested one man and charged him with attempted murder after a stabbing on Lea Drive.
According to Lt. Selena Small, officers responded to a domestic dispute around 10:55 a.m. and located a victim with serious injuries who had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and officers took Ashish Patel, 40, into custody, Small says.
Patel is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. According to booking records, he is currently being held at the J Reuben Long Detention Center under a $125,000 bond.
