CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Conway man is behind bars after police say he’s being investigated for reportedly raping an 8-year-old girl.
An incident report from Conway Police states officers were called to a Conway home Monday where a woman told police that an 8-year-old girl had been raped just days earlier by 46-year-old Leslie Leroy Davis. Officers spoke with the young victim who said she had been “hurt,” but didn’t immediately go into details of how she was hurt, police note.
The report details that the alleged sexual abuse happened at the home March 11. The young victim was taken to Conway Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Davis was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center Monday at 8:54 p.m. where bond has not been set.
