CONWAY,S.C. (WBTW)- Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire on Cottonwood Lane in Conway on Sunday afternoon.
Assistant Fire Chief Justin Gibbins says the call came in shortly after 1:00pm. Gibbins says two people were inside the home at the time of the fire and were notified by a neighbor who knocked on the door.
Crews say upon arrival there was smoke coming out of attic and flames coming out of roof.
Firefighters say the home has significant structural damage.
Crews say the fire appears to have started in attic.
Horry County Fire Rescue now investigates.
