CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Conway Police arrested two suspected drug dealers while conducting a safety checkpoint near Racepath Street Thursday night.

Lt. Selena Small says around 7 p.m. Thursday officers of the Conway Police Department were conducting a public safety checkpoint in the area of Racepath Street and Thompson Street. During the checkpoint, a vehicle was stopped and an investigation led to the arrest of two occupants for several drug offences.

Michale Levoris Moore, 26, and Donavon Curtis Johnson, 23, both of Conway, were arrested and charged with trafficking heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of Schedule IV narcotics, and possession of cocaine.
