Convicted felon charged with murder, robbery in Monday homicide in Darlington County

The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a man Wednesday night for a Monday night homicide in Darlington County.

24-year-old Terrele Rashon Bailey of Hartsville has been charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a weapon by a convicted violent felon and robbery. This comes after investigators served a search warrant at a home on Mimosa Drive Wednesday night.

Bailey is in custody at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and is expected to appear before a Darlington County magistrate Thursday.

This comes after the death of Renardo Jamal Davis, on Monday.

Sheriff Tony Chavis credited the community with providing tips that helped lead to an arrest in the case, as well as the hard work of his investigators.
