NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C (WBTW)- According to the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety, a structure fire closed down parts of Ocean Boulevard Friday morning.
Crew sent out an alert that the fire at a three-story building closed North Ocean Boulevard and Spring Street between 20th Ave North and 22nd Ave North while crews work.
North Myrtle Beach Fire Division Chief Billy Floyd said one person was evacuated from the Mid-Strand Condominiums and was not injured.
Heavy fire from the third floor severely damaged the 6-unit complex.
A detour set-up sent motorists to US 17.
