Hundreds of shoppers hit the streets of Conway on Saturday morning, hoping to find good buys at a bargain.
Approximately 70 vendors lined Laurel Street in Downtown Conway for the annual community yard sale. They sold various items including books, clothing, furniture, and household decor. Downtown businesses also joined the event, selling old stock items.
Conway Downtown Alive organized the yard sale. Several vendors, including Conway resident Matt Mitchell, said the event isn’t just about making a profit.
“I love the atmosphere and just getting to see people from the community all gathered together, in downtown, which is a cool, historic place. So I really enjoy being down here hanging out with other people,” said Mitchell.
Conway Downtown Alive will also hold the Rivertown Music and Beer Festival on Saturday, May 5th.
