Authorities in Robeson County have established a command post as they continue their search for the daughter of a Robeson County deputy.

Sheriff Kenneth Sealey told area media outlets that 18-year-old Sara Nicole Graham has been missing since Wednesday, when she left home at 6:30 am for work at a Walmart store in Pembroke.

Sealey said around 12:15 pm a caller reported a suspicious vehicle in a field with its doors locked. A license check showed the van was registered to Graham’s father, Hubert Graham.

Detectives then learned that Sara Graham never showed up for work.

The sheriff said around 50 officers are combing the area to see if they can find any clues. He also said officers are trying to find anyone who either saw or spoke to Sara Graham before her disappearance.

Sara Graham’s car was found empty, parked in a wheat field on the edge of a forest along East McDonald Road between Chicken Road and Centerville Church Road, Sealey said.

A large search was conducted Wednesday afternoon with dozens of Robeson County deputies, a NC Highway Patrol helicopter and Bladen County Deputies, according to Sealey.

However, there was no sign of Graham and her family has not had contact with her. Sara’s father Hubert, is a 16 year veterans of the sheriff’s department.

Sheriff Kenneth Sealey asks that anyone with information about Sara Graham’s disappearance to call  910-671-3170, which is the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
