TABOR CITY, NC (WBTW) – The Tabor Correctional Institution in Tabor City, NC has a new administrator.
Brad Perritt comes to the Columbus County prison from his job as superintendent of the Lumberton Correctional Institution in Robeson County. Perritt had served as the Lumberton facility’s superintendent since April, 2012.
He started his correctional career in 1995 at Lumberton but has also worked previously at Tabor and at Scotland Correctional Institution in Laurinburg.
The Tabor facility has the third largest prison population in North Carolina, with 1,440 male inmates in medium and close custody and a staff of nearly 520 employees.
