CONWAY (WBTW) – The Coastal Carolina men’s basketball team defeated New Hampshire 71-62 in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament on Saturday afternoon at the HTC Center.
Coastal pulled away in the second half. Elijah Wilson scored all 19 of his points after halftime. Badou Diagne had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He scored 12 of CCU’s first 25 points.
Daniel Dion led New Hampshire with 16 points.
Coastal will host the quarterfinal round of the CIT Tournament on Wednesday, March 23, at 7 p.m. Their opponent is yet to be determined.
