CONWAY (WBTW) – Coastal Carolina defeated UNC Greensboro 7-4 on Sunday afternoon at Springs Brooks Stadium. The Chants also beat Illinois 12-4 earlier in the day.
The Chanticleers (10-7) have won a season-best three straight games and claimed wins in four of their last five.
Connor Owings hit a home run in each game. Zach Remillard contributed two doubles and a home run, giving him seven homers for the season.
Alex Cunningham picked up his second win of the week, both in relief, to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Coastal Carolina will return to action Wednesday, March 16, with a trip to region rival UNC Wilmington. First pitch is set for 6 pm.
