CONWAY (WBTW) – Coastal Carolina defeated Ohio State 3-2 in 10 innings on Monday afternoon at Springs Brooks Stadium.
Senior Anthony Marks scored the game-tying run in the ninth. In the top of the tenth, Coastal relief pitcher Mike Morrison struck out the side. In the bottom half of the inning, Marks drove in the game-winning run. He had four of Coastal’s nine hits.
Coastal Carolina will return to action Wednesday with a trip to region rival College of Charleston. First pitch at Patriots Point is set for 5 pm.
