As a winter weather system leaves our area and there is the possibility of re-freezing on roads, some schools and organizations will choose to close or delay operations.

Carolina Academy in Lake City will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday
Chesterfield County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay Wednesday
Coastal Carolina University will be closed Tuesday night classes. There will be a delay on Wednesday morning with normal operations resuming at 10 a.m.
Coker College will be operating on a delay Wednesday. All classes before 10 am are canceled. Coker College will resume a normal operating schedule at 10 am.
Cradle to Crayons Child Care opens at 9 am Wednesday
Darlington County School District will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday for staff and students.
Dillon School District Three and Four will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff on Wednesday
Emmanuel Christian School in Hartsville will be on a 2-hour delay Wednesday. Classes will begin at 10 a.m.
Faith Christian Academy in Florence will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, Feb. 25
First Methodist Preschool in Cheraw will open on a two hour delay on Wednesday
Florence Christian School will open at 10 am on Wednesday
Florence Darlington Technical College on 2 hour Delay Wednesday
Florence One Schools will operate on a two hour delay on Wednesday, February 25
Florence School District 2 will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday
Florence County School District 3 will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff on Wednesday
Florence County School District 4 will operate on a 2 hour delay for all staff and students on Wednesday.
Florence School District 5 will operate on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday
Francis Marion University closed Tuesday/Tuesday night with all classes resuming and offices open at 9:30 am Wednesday
Georgetown County School District will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday for students and staff. School buses will pick students up two hours later than their normally scheduled times.
Grace Christian School in Loris will be on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday
Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs Day Program will be on a two hour delay for consumers. Staff are to report at 9 am. Routes will begin at 9 am.
Horry County Schools will operate on 2-hour delay Wednesday
Horry Georgetown Technical College – all campus locations – will open at 9:45 Wednesday morning
Kids First Learning in Florence will operate on a 2 hour delay for Wednesday
Kings Academy in Florence will open at 9:45 am on Wednesday
Lake City Presbyterian Daycare will operate on a 2 hour delay Wednesday morning.
Lee County School District will operate on a two hour delay on Wednesday
Limestone College classes will be canceled Tuesday night at these campus locations: Greenville, Florence, Charleston and Kingstree
Maranatha Christian School and Childcare in Florence will open at 10:15 am on Wednesday
Marlboro Academy, a private school, will operate on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday
Marlboro County School District will operate on a two-hour delayed schedule for staff and students on Wednesday
Marion County School District will operate on a 2 hour delay Wednesday for students and staff
Marion County Christian Academy in Marion is on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday
Miller-Motte Technical College in Conway will open at 9 am on Wednesday, with classes beginning at 10:30am. Only 8:00am/8:30am classes will be canceled for Wednesday – all other classes will take place as scheduled.
Mullins-Marion Christian School will be on 2 hour delay Wednesday.
Pee Dee Academy in Marion County will operate on a 2 hour delay Wednesday
Pee Dee Math, Science and Technology Academy will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday for staff and students
Robeson Community College will operate on a two hour delay Wednesday, February 25
Robeson County Schools closed Wednesday.
Scotland Christian Academy will be on a two hour delay on Wednesday. Preschool will open at 9 am and K-12 at 10 am.
Scotland County Schools and district offices will be closed for students and staff Wednesday, February 25.
Southeastern Community College will operate on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday
Thomas Hart Academy in Hartsville on a 2 hr delay Wednesday
Trident Technical College all campus locations will be closed on Tuesday
Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School in Darlington will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday
Virginia College in Florence will operate on a 2 hour delay Wednesday. Classes will begin at 10 am.
Williamsburg County School District will operate on a 2-hour delay for all schools and offices on Wednesday
Williamsburg Technical College in Kingstree will reopen Wednesday at 10 am
BUSINESSES
Quickie Manufacturing – 2nd and 3rd shifts are canceled for Tuesday night. Operations resume beginning with 1st shift at 9 am on Wednesday, February 25th.
Pure Life Chiropractic- Closed for AM shift (9-11am), open for PM shift (2:30-6pm)
GOVERNMENT
Coast RTA will be delaying all Fixed Route and Paratransit services until 10:00 am, with Route 16 beginning at 11:30 am. As our express service only run twice a day, this service will be suspended until Thursday, should weather conditions permit.
Waccamaw Regional Transportation Authority (The Coast RTA) Board of Directors’ meeting on Wednesday, will begin at 10:00 AM instead of 9:00 AM
