CARY, N.C. – A great display of sportsmanship Friday as runners from Louisville and Clemson stopped to help a Boston College runner cross the finish line.
The ACC Digital Network posted video of the race that shows Boston College runner Madeline Adams collapse just short of the finish line at the ACC Cross Country Championships.
That’s when Clemson’s Evie Tate and Louisville’s Rachel Pease stop to help Adams finish the race.
Pease and Tate finished 127th and 128th in the 131-runner field, the ACC said.
Tate is a redshirt junior from Spartanburg.
