The Claude Phillips Benefit and Fundraiser will be held Sunday, February 15 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at The Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet. Claude is a founding member of The Songsmen gospel group. According to a benefit flyer, he has helped others in their time of need. Claude was recently diagnosed with advanced stage Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Funds raised during this benefit will help with his medical bills. Entertainment at the benefit will be provided by James Austin and the Band Silver, Ron Zara, Charlie Floyd, Cornbread, and the Mark Roberts Band. Chicken Bog meals are $6.
