MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – The City of Myrtle Beach is preparing a five-year update to its Floodplain Management and Hazard Mitigation Plan, and city officials want your input.

They invite you to participate in a survey about hazards and disaster, by clicking here.  The plan serves as a guide to floodplain management, as well for reconstruction and redevelopment of flood-prone areas.  The city’s goal is to reduce or eliminate future flood damage.
