MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- The Neighborhood Services Department will host a Community Health and Recreation Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, at Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, 971 Canal Street.
Program Coordinator spoke on News13 NOW about the upcoming Health Fair.
The fair’s theme is Total Health: Mind, Body and Spirit. Organizers say participants will explore both traditional and nontraditional aspects of their health and have the opportunity to visit with many health care providers.
Free screening and testing includes vision, hearing, blood pressure, HIV and glucose. The Fire Department will conduct first-aid and safety demonstrations. Entertainment for children will include arts and crafts, organized games, basketball fitness and swimming!
The fair is co-sponsored by Absolute Total Care, Kleenex, Edward Jones Financial and the City of Myrtle Beach.
