City of Myrtle Beach participates in 11th annual Coats for Kids campaign

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The City of Myrtle Beach is participating again in Coast RTA’s “Coats for Kids” Campaign, with five drop-off locations at city buildings for your convenience.

Collection boxes are available now at City Hall, the City Services Building, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Building, the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center and the Law Enforcement Center Annex.

Donations of new and gently worn coats, jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats and blankets will be accepted through Tuesday, Nov. 29. Locations are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Distribution of the collected coats will occur 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, at the Coast RTA Terminal in Conway.
