City crews remove parking meters from select parts of Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Parking is free again in Myrtle Beach, at least for a few months.

City crews were out Tuesday morning removing the parking meters from different areas, including 8^th Avenue North.

Locals and visitors can now park in the public spaces free of charge through Feb. 28. Parking fees begin again March 1 and last through Oct. 31.
