SPARTANBURG, SC – A lost phone led to the arrest of a USC Upstate student after several child porn images were found on the device.
34-year-old Shannon Kendall Morrison is charged with 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
According to the incident report, two students found Morrison’s phone in the parking lot of the Smith Science Building on February 16 and told USC officers that they believed there were lewd and obscene materials on the phone.
10 images on the phone showed a minor engaging in sexual activity, according to Morrison’s arrest warrants.
