HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – Horry County Police continue to search for a missing child and his parents after months of being on the run. Officers are now asking for the public’s help again in locating them.
Police have been looking for Charles Ammons, 42, and Kaitlyn Courville, 24 since July, 2014.
Police say they are wanted for “custodial interference” in connection with a case involving 1-year-old, Zander Ammons.
The parents are no longer at their listed address in Aynor.
Contact was made by telephone with the parents in July but reportedly refuse to turn the child over and have been hiding from the Department of Social Services since.
Officers say the trio could be in one of the vehicles listed here: A Silver 2004 GMC Sierra (SC JCT726) with a damaged front bumper and possibly a “tap out” sticker in window, Red in Color 1988 Nissan King Cab (SC JGE630), Unknown Color 1993 Toyota Camry LE (SC FXD466) and a Gold in color 1988 Chevy C1500 (SC P3159GJ).
If you have information leading to their arrest, you are asked to call 915-TIPS.
