Dena Chatfield, Horry County School’s Director of Student Affairs, is one of 33 graduates of the inaugural class of the Women’s Leadership Institute hosted by Furman University’s Center for Corporate and Professional Development.
The Leadership Class of 2015, selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, began work on campus in January. The class includes leaders from diverse backgrounds in corporations, healthcare, law, governmental agencies, educational institutions and non-profit organizations. The four-month program is designed for women who have demonstrated successful leadership, community involvement and a desire to help others.
