CONWAY (WBTW) – The Coastal Carolina University men’s basketball team has received a bid into the 2016 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT) and will host a first round game Tues., March 15 inside the HTC Center. Coastal’s opponent will be determined at a later date.
The Chanticleers finished this season with an 18-11 overall record. They tied for third in the Big South’s regular season standings.
Coastal will be making its sixth postseason appearance in the last seven years. The Chants have twice played in the NCAA, NIT and CIT tournaments during that stretch.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
